Vienna Boys Choir—Director Gerald Wirth

UPDATE:  This concert is currently sold out. But we expect some seating to become available before the day of the concert, as well as on the day of the concert.

Before Day of Concert: Tickets cancelled before the day of the concert become immediately available for reservation on Eventbrite.  So by periodically checking the Vienna Boys Choir event page you may find tickets available for reservation.

Day of Concert: On the day of the concert we always have last-minute ticket cancellations and no-shows, most of which we learn about within an hour of the concert beginning. To take advantage of this, we suggest you arrive at Bethlehem Lutheran when the doors open at 3:00pm to join our ticket Rush Line.

For six centuries, these young cultural ambassadors have been adored the world over for their wide-ranging repertoire, purity of tone, and generosity of musical spirit. The Vienna Boys Choir is the one of the best known choirs in the world, comprised of choristers between ages nine and fourteen. There are around 100 active members divided into four concert choirs. Each of these choirs spends nine to eleven weeks of the year on tour.

Formed in 2010, Grammy-winning Neave Trio has earned enormous praise for its engaging, cutting-edge performances that are embued with passion, sensitivity and grace. The Neave Trio has performed at many esteemed concert series and festivals worldwide, including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York.

A Minneapolis native and current resident of Vienna, Austria, Alma Neuhaus is a current member of the Vienna State Opera. She sings with a passion for opera, art song, and Golden Age repertoire. She is praised for a voice that is as velvety as it is voluminous. Timothy Lovelace, collaborative piano and coaching professor at the University of Minnesota, and conductor, has performed on four continents.

As a renowned church organist, conductor, and composer, David Cherwien brings creativity to hymns of various traditions and styles. He has won national acclaim as a leader of congregational song with hymn festivals that transport us to an encounter with the sublime. Join the choir of voices as we sing some of the church’s beloved hymnody.
